You may want to purchase a hosting account and a domain name for your character to express his/her thoughts, or you may just want to apply for a free subdomain account at a some free service. In case you choose the latter, I have a few suggestions:
- Bubble.nu – a free hosting service run by a friendly and kind webmaster, Kya, who will be more than happy to host the fruit of your boundless creativity.
- CBD-Hosting.net – another free service, run by the sweet Jade
- Paperlove.info – my Character Ironbreaker‘s reseller account. Being the owner a Character himself, he’d be more than happy to host other Characters ;P
Of course you may choose a free blog host such like Blogspot.com or Tumblr.com (you can use your domain name with both of them if you wish); it’s totally up to you. However, in case your choice goes with a hosting service offered by some webmaster (Bubble.nu, Hyouri.org, etc.), be honest about the nature of your blog, and tell them that you’ll be putting up a Disclaimer to inform your visitor about the fictionality of the Author of your blog posts.
I’m not saying you should apply as yourself: if you wish, you may apply for a free subdomain or domain hosting as your Character, but then you need to inform your host that the applicant is your fictional Character, explaining them why you’re doing this, your creative ideas, etc.
What really counts is that you find a host willing to accept to host ‘someone’ that is not a real person, but a Character role-played by a real person. Some people may throw a fit at you for this ‘strangeness’, so make sure you know your host-to-be before applying.
